Southwest flight to PA !

Cali and I are visiting my family in northwest PA while Dave is on the road production managing a tour with Shawn McDonald, Jason Gray, and Downhere. I found a $49 flight to Pittsburgh; I can't drive up here for that much. We had a layover in Chicago; Cali slept the whole first flight and entertained me the second. Here are a few pics of her (not first) flight.

This is too cute!
I just took this and posted it on YouTube. Cali has such a fun personality - and loves to entertain! She is learning sign language - and can tell us, "bottle" "more" "all-done" and "bye-bye." She can clap too - but that's not really sign language...

Live Beautiful
Just an update: I have moved my Living Beautiful blog to blogger! Since I already have a few other blogs on here, what's one more!? I hope you get a chance to check out the articles; I have asked a guest blogger to share her story this week. I'm sure you will find it touching. If you have a story to share that would encourage other people to Live Beautiful, please e-mail me! - jessica@tolivebeautiful.com.
On a separate note: my mom asked if I had any current pictures of Cali... so here they are! Fresh from today.

What would YOU do?
What would happen if you were driving down the road at a reasonable speed, and then all of a sudden the hood flipped up and slammed into your windshield? How would YOU react?
This is exactly what happend to my MOM today!!!
She was driving down Route 19 - just north of Saegertown, PA, when all of a sudden the hood of her Subaru Forester unlatched and slammed into the windshield with breaking force. She was by herself, on the way home from work. "I only had about two inches to see where I was going," she said, talking about the small gap left at the bottom of the unlatched hood. "All I could do was follow the white line on the side of the road. It was a good thing I knew the road well; I might have been in trouble if I didn't know what was coming up next!" Despite the circumstances, she remained calm.
When dad sent these pictures, I had to call right away to get the full story!!

10,000th visitor
Someone from Charlotte, North Carolina was my 10,000th visitor! Still don't have a name though... :)
About Dave's "new" truck... someone just knocked on our window and said the parking lights were still on. Huh. Just thought you'd like to know.
I'm going to get off the computer for the evening (or hour) and spend some quality time with my family!
